CONTINUOUS BURNOUT, PREHEAT & FLASHFIRE DEWAX FURNACES
Over the years the Investment Casting Foundry has developed steadily in size, sophistication and quality. Today foundries are processing hundreds of molds per day, in larger and larger parts with the tightest quality specifications in history. And so, every facet of production has been torn down and put back together in an effort to step up to those demands. Dewax, burnout and preheat are no exception. With new quality standards such as ISO and TQM, every phase of production must be documented to assure a quality and repeatable product. Pacific Kiln has been working hard to meet this challenge with continuous furnace designs that are guaranteed to give the necessary performance and documentation that your quality specification requires. Continuous furnaces are the only way to insure that each mold gets identical time, temperature and atmosphere treatment. As each mold progresses through the tunnel, it goes through the same program of temperature zones in the same rate of time and in the same oxygenated atmosphere. Management controls these settings and has a recording to evaluate against the quality of the part. REPEATABILITY. There are two types of continuous furnaces normally used for processing the Investment Casting shell; The Pusher and the Car furnace.
