SHUTTLE KILNS

The shuttle kiln is a simple way to increase the production of the batch kiln. The kiln car moves in and out of the kiln so that it may be conveniently loaded and unloaded. When there is a car on each end, the shuttle kiln becomes even more efficient. While one load is being fired, the other car is outside for unloading and reloading. When the load inside is complete, it may be moved out and the other car can be immediately moved in and start firing. The cars may be moved manually or automated.
